Study in Europe fair South KoreaThe Study in Europe Fair, 4 and 5 June 2016, enables South Korean students, academics and other audiences to find out about European higher education opportunities.

Exhibiting at the Fair is open to European higher education institutions and national higher education promotion agencies/embassies from the Erasmus+ programme countries plus Switzerland.  

Before the Fair, we are organising a Conference and networking reception, 3 June 2016, for European and South Korean university representatives and higher education professionals.

The Fair and Conference are taking place as part of the 'Study in Europe' project, contracted by the European Commission, Directorate General for Education and Culture for the European Union. Find out more below.

Additional information

Exhibitor participation fee for higher education institutions: 800 EUR (plus additional VAT, therefore 960 EUR total). 

Exhibitor participation fee for national promotion agencies/embassies: No fee

Participating as an exhibitor includes:

  • A standard booth (details tbc) 
  • Basic furniture and facilities
  • One entry in the Fair leaflet
  • Free participation in the Conference and networking reception 

To be eligible to participate in the Fair, exhibitors must:

  • be a higher education institution recognised by the competent national authority, an official consortium of recognised higher education institutions or a national governmental agency in charge of higher education promotion (governmental agencies may be represented by their embassy in the country where the event is taking place);
  • have their headquarters in one of the Erasmus+ programme countries (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, Turkey and United Kingdom) or Switzerland;
  • deliver higher education degrees recognised by the competent national authority (if the institution is a higher education institution or an official consortium of higher education institutions).

Please note, we expect to receive more applications than there are places available. Registering is not a guarantee of a place. We will review applications and confirm places as soon as we can.

South Korean universities are internationally well-known and have an excellent reputation.  

A comprehensive overview of the South Korean higher education system is published in the Study “Internationalisation of Higher Education” published by the European Parliament.

Please note that there will be an on-line session before you leave for Korea to provide a background of Korean market in general with certain trends, so that you can prepare better for your upcoming metings with all the prospects in Korea.
